President Muhammadu Buhari has asked all ministers in his cabinet including the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr Godwin Emefiele seeking to succeed him to immediately resign from the offices they occupy.

The president, however, singled out the Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba for braving the odds to quit to avoid conflict of interest.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the order left several others seeking other positions in suspense. It was gathered that those Ministers seeking to be Governors, Senators and House of Representatives members were as at press time busy trying to seek clarifications if they were affected.
