Akan Okon Charges Akwa Ibom Delegates

Peoples Democratic Party, PDP governorship aspirant in Akwa Ibom State, Mr Akan Okon has charged party delegates involved in the election of the party’s candidate to put into consideration the overall interest of the state in making their choice in their decision on who becomes candidate.

Akan Okon who served as a commissioner in the Udom Emmanuel regime from 2015 and before then was commissioner for two years in the Godswill Akpabio government said that he was the best prepared aspirant to take the state to the next level.

“Dear esteemed delegates of our great party, the future of this state will be determined by the choices you make in the forthcoming governorship primaries,” Akan Okon said in a statement he made available on his twitter handle.

“I implore you to undertake a comprehensive audit of who is most prepared, best groomed, with the right character competence and capacity for the high office of Governor of our beloved state. I urge you to be firm and decisive in doing what is right,” Akan Okon said in his charge to the delegates.
