Atiku Wins PDP Presidential Ticket

Atiku Abubakar has won the presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP topping the votes at the Special National Convention of the party in Abuja with 371 votes.

Governor Nyesom Wike was second with 237 votes while Senator Bukola Saraki took third with 70 votes. Governor Bala Mohammed scored 20 votes, Anyim PIus Anyim scored 14.

A total of 761 votes cast were out of which 12 votes were declared void.

The results were declared by Senator David Mark, the returning officer for the election.
