Criticism Trails Delayed Release Of Tinubu Manifesto

The revelation by the Tinubu Campaign Organization that the manifesto of the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate will not be ready until September just before campaign commences has unsettled many Nigerians. 

The campaign spokesman, Bayo Onanuga made the revelation as he dismissed what he said was a fake document being passed off as the manifesto.

According to Onanuga, Bola Tinubu was consulting with experts in various fields and a broad section of the populace aimed at arriving at an all-embracing manifesto that will be presented to Nigerians.

“We appreciate the interest and enthusiasm of Nigerians to know about the programmes and policy options Asiwaju Tinubu will pursue in government when elected.

“He is a tested and experienced leader who will bring his knowledge and expertise to run a government that will meet the aspiration and yearnings of our people across every sector.”

The report that the manifesto was not ready was one that troubled several Nigerians who wondered what he used in selling himself during his party primary.
