The lady identified as Mary Ngoshe, is believed to be one of the girls abducted from the Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, on April 14, 2014, an incident that opened the floodgate of attacks on educational institutions in Northern Nigeria.

Revealing the discovery of another Chibok girl, the Nigerian Army in a tweet on Wednesday morning said that during patrol in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno, Ngoshe was found with her child.

“Troops of 26 Task Force Brigade of the HQ Nigerian Army on patrol around Ngoshe in Borno State on 14 June 2022 intercepted one Mrs Mary Ngoshe and her son.”

“She is believed to be one of the abducted girls from GGSS Chibok in 2014. Further exploitation ongoing,” the tweet on how the Chibok School girl was found read.

This report that another Chibok School girl has been found has sparked reactions from social media users. While many fired the Federal government for its incompetence, others claimed it was a political gimmick by the FG.
