Kemi Olunloyo Switches Off Comments After Being Slammed For Revisiting Beef With Late Actress, Ada Ameh

Self-acclaimed journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has switched off the comments section on her post where she revisited the fight she had with popular actress, Ada Ameh in the wake of the Sylvester Oromoni saga in December 2021

Kemi Olunloyo said she learnt Ada Ameh was dining yesterday with friends and suddenly slumped and collapsed. Olunloyo while revisiting her beef with the deceased recounted how Ada threatened her and allegedly urged her fans to beat her over her (Kemi Olunoyo) controversial stance on the death of Sylvester Oromoni, the Dowen College student who was beaten to death in controversial circumstances at the end of 2021.
Kemi Olunloyo had alleged that the student had desired to join a cult group in Dowen College and allegedly agreed to be beaten. Dr Olunloyo’s assertions were against the grain of information that the late student was bullied by schoolmates.
Ada Ameh who was at that time coming out of her mourning for her own daughter was livid and came out to lash at Kemi Olunloyo claiming that she may actually be mad as some of her critics had alleged in the past.
Following the revelation of the death of the actress, Kemi Olunloyo came out with a post to revisit the beef the two had.
According to Kemi, she was just doing her job as a journalist and defending media freedom. She also claimed she received 900 terrorizing iMessages and 454 WhatsApp messages after Adetoun Onajobi posted her former phone number and old apartment online, while her children 35, 31 and 21 in America were also exposed to threats.
Kemi further insisted that those who were not satisfied with her job could have just unfollowed her and that today she no longer practices journalism in Nigeria.
She ended by saying that she is now a Wellness & Drug abuse education and prevention expert and Ada is no longer here.
The self acclaimed journalist’s post has stirred numerous reactions as social media users termed her action as unnecessary. Many others warned that she should let the dead rest and not badmouth her.
