Harsh Condemnations For Govt As National Grid Collapses 6th Time In 2022

Nigerians have reacted as the National grid reportedly collapse for the sixth time in 2022.

The Eko Electricity Distribution Company on Wednesday took to it officialTwitter page to announce the collapse of the grid which occurred at about 11:27 am.

The announcement reads: “Dear Customers, we regret to inform you of a system collapse on the National grid at precisely 11:27 am today, Wednesday July 20th.

“We are in talks with the Transmission Company of Nigeria to ascertain the cause of the collapse and a possible restoration timeline.

 “We will keep you updated on the situation,”.

The current collapse is the sixth time the grid has collapsed in 2022.

Reacting to the report, Nigerians expressed their disappointment.
