2023: Keyamo Hails Tinubu After Appointment As Spokesman
Festus Keyamo, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, has broken his silence following his appointment as the chief spokesperson for the Bola Tinubu 2023 presidential campaign team.
GreenWhiteGreen GWG recalls that Keyamo’s appointment was announced on Thursday by the APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu while speaking with State House correspondents.
Keyamo had through the patronage of Rotimi Amaechi been appointed into a similar role ahead of the 2019 governorship election for the Muhammadu Buhari campaign.

Adamu, who had earlier met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, also stated that a newspaper columnist, Hannatu Musawa, has been appointed as the deputy spokesman.
A former Lagos State Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Dele Alake, and the Publisher of PM news, Bayo Onanuga, were also appointed into the media department of the campaign council.
Reacting to the appointment, Keyamo on Friday, via his Twitter handle expressed appreciation to Tinubu, his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima and the All Progressive Congress, APC.
He added that he is humbled by the appointment.
In his words: “Special thanks to @officialABAT and @KashimSM for finding me worthy to lead the line in the APC 2023 Presidential Campaign Council as Official Spokesperson. I am humbled because both great leaders have been reputed to possess the uncanny ability to nurture mentees.”
