Kizz Daniel married for 4 years

Nigerian singer, Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel has been released by Tanzanian police after he was whisked away from his hotel on Monday morning following contractual disputes with the local Tanzanian show promoters that brought him to the East African country.

Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa confirmed the release of the Buga singer late on Monday in a series of tweets.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Kizz Daniel was arrested from his hotel on Monday after the tour organisers who arranged for his visit complained that he failed to  perform at the Warehouse, Old Nextdoor Arena as arranged.

Kizz Daniel has not given a public explanation for his failure to perform his side of the contract despite being on ground in the East African country.

He arrived Tanzania  on Sunday night as part of his Afro Classic World Tour.

It was gathered that his failure to turn up for the concert led to riots which led to the destruction of some parts of the venue.

The development pushed the tour organisers to lodge a complaint leading to the arrest of Kizz Daniel and some members of his crew.

Following an online twitter appeal by a Nigerian to Abike Dabiri-Erewa to intervene to ensure that Kizz Daniel was released by the Tanzanian authorities, she responded thus:

“He has just been released but his lawyers will report to the station tomorrow. He should be home anytime soon,” she said in confirmation of the news that Kizz Daniel had been released by the Tanzanian Police.
