In the early hours of Monday, 22nd August, Fani-Kayode via the microblogging platform, Twitter, shared a post hailing the vigour of LP supporters, as he gave reasons why the ‘Obedient Movement’ should not be ignored.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in the now deleted post, stressed that the ‘Obedients’ are everywhere because they are not a political party but a movement, stating that anyone who ignores them does so at his own peril.

According to the former minister, the ‘Obidents’ will still be in their current position because they are just a movement bound together by a common cause, purpose and objective of getting rid of the old leaders to usher in the new.

He tweeted: “These Obidients are EVERYWHERE. We ignore them at our peril. Long after we are all gone they will still be here because they are not a pol. party but a movement. They are bound together in a common cause, purpose & objective: to rid Nigeria of the old order & usher in the new.”

However, a recent check on the page to see the reactions of some netizens showed that Fani-Kayode has deleted the tweet.
