Amaka: BBNaija Bows To Pressure, Explains Sudden Eviction

Following the massive backlash that trailed the sudden eviction of Big Brother Naija, BBNaija Season 7 Housemate, Amaka, the organisers of the reality show have explained their action despite having the same numbers of nomination with co reality star, Doyin.

GWG gathered that Doyin and Amaka had six nominations from other housemates but only Amaka was evicted from the Big Brother House, on Monday night.

The sudden eviction of Amaka from the BBNaija house had stirred massive outrage on social media with many Nigerians condemning the eviction stating that the step was inhuman.

Reacting to the backlash, the BBNaija organisers in a post shared on its verified Twitter page, revealed that Deji’s nomination of Doyin and Hermes is invalid because he is a fake housemate.

According to Big Brother, Riders Rachel and Chizzy’ cannot be nominated and cannot put up any housemates for eviction.

The tweet read: “As they are not real housemates Deji(Fake), Rachel (Rider) and Chizzy’s nominations were not counted towards tonight’s eviction.”

GWG reports that it is expected that the explanation from the BBNaija organisers would assuage the supporters of Amaka over her sudden eviction.
