Hours After Receiving Mariam, Ooni Of Ife To Marry UK Based Woman

The Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II is reportedly set to receive a new bride from Lagos shortly after welcoming his new wife, Mariam Anako to the palace.

GWG reports that Ooni of Ife on Tuesday evening welcomed his new wife, Mariam Anako into the Ile-Ife Palace. Her arrival at the palace followed a successful completion of all necessary marriage rites permitted by the tradition.

However, hours after Anako’s arrival at the Ife Palace, it emerged that that a delegation of Chiefs from the royal palace in Osun State, visited the family of one Dr Elizabeth Opeoluwa Akinmuda in the Magodo area of Lagos in a bid to get her to join other queens at the palace.

An inside source at the palace who revealed this to newsmen said Akinmuda is a Scotland-based Electronic Data Processor and a native of Ondo City in Ondo State.
