Royal Family’s Website Unavailable

The official website of the British royal family for the first time since it was launched has become unavailable as it undergoes fundamental changes in the light of the transition of the queen and the ascent of the king.

GWG reports that the pulling down of the website is the first time in the history of the British monarchy, a fact underpinned by the fact that the website was only launched during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.

With the new king adopting a new name as King Charles III, it became important to temporarily pull down the site to redesign it to suit the new dispensation with His Majesty the king and his consort, Camilla at the head of the royal family.
