Popular Northern Actress, Rahama Sadau Turns Back On Tinubu

Leading Nigerian actress, Rahama Sadau has rejected her nomination into the women team of All Progressives Congress’ presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima.

GWG.NG reports that a list of high profile Nigerians in the entertainment industry notably Nollywood and Kanywood had emerged on Saturday as members of the women team of the Tinubu campaign with First Lady, Aisha Buhari as the chairperson and Senator Remi Tinubu as co-chairperson.

Among the 33 popular actors listed were Zack Orji, Jide Kosoko and Foluke Daramola, Joke Silva, Mercy Johnson among others.

Other artistes and celebrities listed in the list included Fausat Balogun, Remi Oshodi, Rose Odika, Sola Kosoko, Lanre Hassan (Iya Awero) Hajiya Nas, Lizzy Jay (Omo Ibadan), Princess Kalihat Bello among others.

The list was released by political activist, Rinsola Abiola, a daughter of late Chief MKO Abiola who is also a member of the media campaign team.

However, replying to her nomination, Rahama Sadau denied her membership of the Tinubu group, describing it as a big lie.

In a post on twitter, she said that she was never consulted on the issue saying she does not know how her name made it to the list.

“This is a fat big lieeeeee. I am not aware. Of this! I don’t know how my name made it to this list. I am not in any way associated with this. What happens to seeking for one’s consent? Are we starting this way?”

GWG.NG reports that Rahama Sadau who has 930,000 followers on twitter and 2.8 million followers on Instagram posted her reaction to the nomination to the Tinubu group on the two social media platforms drawing strong reactions from her followers.
