Employees at Twitter, the social media network, are up in arms once more over Elon Musk’s latest attempt to purchase the company.

Musk is negotiating to buy the social network for a staggering $44 billion, which was the asking price when he first announced plans to buy Twitter in April before abandoning the plan in July.

Employees voiced their complaints on the social media site in the wake of the most recent development in the months-long Twitter buyout issue.

Rumman Chowdhury, the head of Twitter’s META (ML Ethics, Transparency and Accountability) team, wrote, “Living the plot of succession is f-king tiresome.”

A few minutes later, she said, “I am sitting on 2023 company-wide strategy readouts and I think we will ignore what’s going on collectively.

According to a source familiar with the situation, Elon Musk and Twitter Inc (TWTR.N) may reach a settlement to terminate their legal dispute in the upcoming days, paving the way for the world’s richest person to finalize his $44 billion acquisition of the social media company.

Musk, who is also the CEO of the electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla Inc (TSLA.O), suggested to Twitter late on Monday that in exchange for Twitter dropping its legal action against him, he would reverse direction and stick to his April deal to purchase the business for $54.20 per share.
