(Video) Patience Jonathan, Husband, Celebrate Love As Former First Lady Marks Birthday
It was a celebration of love highlighted by the cutting of a cake as former First Lady, Patience Jonathan marked her birthday in the company of friends and family on Tuesday.
President Jonathan shared the video of the occasion on social media as he joined his wife at the count of L-O-V-E to cut the birthday cake.
GWG.NG reports that well-wishers of the former president have been trooping to his Instagram page to express their well wishes for the couple and for the former first lady, Patience Jonathan on her birthday.
Patience Jonathan who is 57 started her career as a teacher at Stella Maris College, Port Harcourt and later moved on to the Sports Institute, Isaka. She subsequently had a session in the banking sector serving as the marketing manager of Imiete Community Bank. She followed up on this by establishing the first community bank in Port Harcourt named, Akpo Community Bank.
She then briefly returned to the classroom briefly again as a teacher but was transferred to the Bayelsa State Ministry of Education, following the creation of the new state and served there until 29 May 1999, when her husband became the deputy governor of the state.
As First Lady of Nigeria between 2010 and 2015 she was involved in many charitable works.
