Fubara Charges ONOLGA Campaign Council On Victory
Sir Siminalayi Fubara, governorship flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in Rivers State has charged the Opobo/Nkoro ONOLGA Campaign Council of the party to be committed to mobilizing the people through issue-based campaigns for the 2023 general elections.
Sir Fubara gave the charge on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at the inauguration of the PDP campaign council in the LGA, stressing that the team should leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the party secures a landslide victory in the elections.
Also, he sued for peaceful conduct all through the campaigns and during the elections, emphasizing that the party is solely depending on God to be victorious in the elections.
Meanwhile, the gubernatorial candidate has described the twisting of his statement at Bori on Saturday by the opposition as mischievous. He stated that the opposition was making a mountain out of a molehill in an attempt to discredit him, but that they will fail woefully. He said his statement was never in anyway meant to disparage any profession, but was rather to demonstrate his capacity to match his words with actions.
Sir Fubara hinted that members of the opposition are fussing over a non-issue rather than focusing on telling Rivers people what they can offer. He emphasized that the people are already aware of the opposition’s machinations to derail the course of progress in the State.
Fubara enjoined his supporters to disregard the antics of the opposition and rather to focus on the ultimate objective of winning the 2023 elections for the party following his charge to stakeholders in ONOLGA.
