Tinubu, Governors, In Buga Party After Chatham House Lecture (Video)
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and some members of his entourage to the Chatham House lecture took to party after the lecture on Monday according to a video that was trending on Tuesday morning.
Among the identified persons at the after lecture party were Governors Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, Dave Umahi of Ebonyi and Abubakar Baduru of Jigawa Stae. Governor El-Rufai, however, cut a more somber picture than many other exuberant members of the entourage.
Tinubu was, however, not subdued as even while seated he rocked to Kizz Daniel’s Buga music in a restaurant that had been taken over by the APC delegation. As he ate and rocked to the music a voice was heard saying “this is what young people want to see,” the man said in a way to burnish the image of Tinubu as an old man.
As at the time the video was recorded, El-Rufai had not been served any food or he was probably fasting and busied himself with his mobile device.
There were insinuations on twitter that El-Rufai was probably not feeling the excitement that many other members of the Tinubu delegation felt and that could have explained his sobriety at the party after the Chatham House lecture.
GWG.NG reports that a shine was taken away from the Chatham House lecture when Tinubu delegated El-Rufai and some others to answer some questions addressed to him at the lecture.
