Christmas: Uzodimma Gifts Fuel To Okada Riders, Bus Drivers, Free Transport To Imolites From Lagos

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has approved free fuel for Okada riders, Imo City Transport Commercial bus drivers and free transportation to the state from Lagos for Imolites.

A statement issued by the governor’s media office said that the gesture was in the spirit of Christmas.

The statement read thus:
“In the spirit of Christmas, Governor Hope Uzodimma has approved for All Imo City Transport commercial (ICT) bus drivers and Commercial Motorcycle (OKADA) riders operating in Imo State to proceed to Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu Square (Former Heroes Square) on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, by 7:00 am to collect free fuel tickets.

“In the same vein, the Governor approved free buses from Lagos to Imo state for Imolites.

“This is part of Governor Hope Uzodimma’s effort in putting smiles on the faces of Imo state commercial bus drivers and Okada operators this season as a result of the Hike in Fuel Pump Prices.”

Meanwhile, besides the news of free fuel from Governor Uzodimma to Okada riders in Imo State, the Independent Petroleum Marketers of Nigeria (IPMAN), has congratulated Nigerians and Christians in particular, on the occasion of the 2022 Christmas celebration.

Alhaji Debo Ahmed, National President of IPMAN, who sent the message in a statement on behalf of the National Executive Council, wished Nigerians a successful and eventful celebration.

He said the body of marketers wished to associate with the Nigerian masses at this time when the country is facing challenges with distribution of petroleum products, especially Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).
