Manchester United’s Erik ten Hag has called out his side’s lack of cutting edge despite their 2-0 win away to Nottingham Forest at City Ground. Manchester United moved up to third in the Premier League with a routine 2-0 win, strengthening their grip on a Champions League qualifying spot.

Antony scored the opener from close range in the first half and then rolled in Diogo Dalot for the second after the impressive Bruno Fernandes had seen a shot pushed onto the bar, with the dominant win moving United six points clear of fifth-placed Tottenham with a game in hand and just eight fixtures remaining.

Speaking about the only thing he didn’t like from Man United’s 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday “Always you want to score and kill the game in the early moments. In big games you don’t create many chances so you have to score them. The only criticism is the score should be higher. GWG.ng quotes Erik ten Hag as telling Sky Sports.

“We need more goal scorers and I’m happy with Antony. He scored a goal, gave an assist.”

GWG.ng reports that Nottingham Forest have now lost 10 times in a row to Manchester United across all competitions, including four times this season after the Red Devils knocked them out of the Carabao Cup over two legs in the Semi final.
