Reactions As Channels Television Deletes Misleading Tweets on Peter Obi, Apologises

Channels Television has apologised and deleted a tweet it wrongly attributed to presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi calling for the release of the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu who is currently in detention.

While the broadcast station has apologised and deleted the said tweet, Nigerians are not taking it likely with them. They insisted the tweet was deliberately put out to further smear Peter Obi’s image and the apology was not enough to redeem what has been destroyed.
