Controversy Over Wike’s Appointment Into Tinubu’s Government

Controversy was on Tuesday morning shadowing reports of former Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike being given an appointment into the President Bola Tinubu administration.

While the insinuation has been all over the place, Senator Shehu Sani took it a notch higher on Monday when he went to twitter to claim that Wike was talking of appointment into the Tinubu administration even more than members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

GWG.ng reports that the tweet came after Wike made two visits to President Tinubu and also made a television interview where he spoke elaborately on an appointment into the Tinubu government.

Wike who was elected twice as governor of Rivers State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has been accused of conniving with the APC to bury his party and rigging against the Labour Party in the presidential election.

Wike had also been quoted as saying that he would confer with his wife and friends if offered an appointment by President Tinubu.

Reacting to the mutters about Wike and an appointment into the Tinubu administration, Senator Sani tweeted:
