Ighodalo remarrying

The lead pastor of Trinity House Church, Lagos, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo has said that the prospects of his remarrying are limited in the near future given his satisfaction with his present state and the warning from his daughter against remarrying.

Speaking during an interview on Arise News Television on how he is dealing with his single state after the death in 2020 of his wife, Ibidun, Ighodalo said he has had to adapt but that he is being helped by at least four women who play mother figure to the children.

He said “I have been lucky. The children have about four mother figures in their lives. They include my mother in-law, my brother’s wife, Ifeyinwa; my sister, Toluwalope; and Dami, who uses to be Ibidun’s personal assistant. And she has continued that in that role”.

Asked of the prospects of remarrying in the immediate future, Pastor Ighodalo said:

“ It is not possible to say I would never remarry again, but if I have the way, I am okay. I am happy and my life is not complicated, I am looking after my children, and I am doing well. I might consider it when my kids are older. My daughter has also warned me not to remarry (laughs)”, Pastor Ighodalo also said.

Teased by one of the anchors, Ruth Osime that given his status as a fine boy with money, how he is able to keep female admirers at bay given his marital availability, he said:

“I am very clear in my thoughts, and I would not be in the same space with any woman just by myself. I am always either with my personal assistant, special assistant or Chief of Staff.

According to him if a female visits him in the house, he is never alone with such a female adding: “they would come to my house, where they are maids around.”
