Federal University, Lokoja Makes Groundbreaking Announcements For Next Academic Session

Barely one week after the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced the 2023/2024 admission cut-off marks, the Federal University, Lokoja has joined other institutions to release specific cut-off marks into the institution.

Besides the release of the cut-off marks, Federal University, Lokoja has also released a piece of good news that many prospective candidates had been clamouring for, over the last few years.

According to our source, the institution through it’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi on Thursday announced that the institution will admit candidates for Engineering & Nursing Programmes in the 2023/2024 academic session.

Besides, it was also announced that the Faculty of Engineering will commence academic activities with three (3) Programmes; B.Eng Electrical & Electronic Engineering, B.Eng Mechanical Engineering, B.Eng Computer Engineering.

In a related development, the institution has put all measures in place to establish a Faculty of Law following the approval of funds by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, TETFund for the approval of a Law Faculty building, GWG.ng has learnt.

Meanwhile, the university has pegged the cut-off mark into MBBS programme at 250 and 170 for other programmes in the university for the 2023/2024 accademic session.
