In a shocking turn of events, local authorities in Ondo town have detained a 26-year-old man suspected of engaging in fraudulent internet activities, commonly known as a “Yahoo boy,” following the discovery of a human skull in his residence.

The suspect, identified as Franklin Akinyosuyi, who is a photographer and the owner of a boutique, was taken into custody after a bag containing a human skull and bones was found in his apartment located in the Elewuro area of Ondo Town.

The unsettling find was brought to light by the landlord’s children, who stumbled upon the bag within the suspect’s dwelling. Alarmed by the discovery, the children quickly informed their father, who promptly contacted local police authorities.

According to statements from the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, Olufumilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, the landlord confronted Akinyosuyi after his children revealed the disturbing contents of the bag. In response to his arrest, Akinyosuyi reportedly claimed that the human skull and bones were given to him by a native doctor in Osun State, purportedly as a means to enhance his business prospects.

“The investigation is ongoing, and the suspect is currently in custody,” stated the Police Public Relations Officer. As authorities delve deeper into the case, the motive behind the unsettling discovery of the suspected Ondo Yahoo boy and its connection to the suspect’s alleged fraudulent activities are being explored
