Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has cautioned African leaders and President Bola Tinubu of the severe consequences for them of being drawn into a world war through the unfolding crisis in Niger Republic.

In a statement, Primate Ayodele cautioned against rash actions, particularly highlighting the potential consequences of a conflict involving the Niger Republic.

He specifically addressed President Bola Tinubu, the Chairman of the Economic Community Of West African States (ECOWAS), stressing that any hasty military intervention could lead to the tragic assassination of several African leaders.

Primate Ayodele’s assertion stems from his belief that a war against the Niger Republic might ignite a series of catastrophic events, eventually leading to the downfall of President Tinubu’s government. Ayodele expressed concerns about Nigeria’s readiness for such an endeavor, emphasizing the country’s lack of capacity to effectively engage in a full-scale conflict.

While addressing global dynamics, Primate Ayodele criticized what he perceives as misleading actions by the United States (US) and NATO. He expressed skepticism about their intentions, suggesting that their involvement may not serve the best interests of Nigeria and the broader African continent.

Furthermore, the spiritual leader underscored the severity of the potential consequences, emphasizing that no African nation would be immune to the devastating fallout of a war involving the Niger Republic. Ayodele pointed out that this conflict might even escalate into a broader global confrontation, sparking a third world war.
