Nigerian street singer, Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has broken his silence regarding the rumors surrounding his alleged involvement with the late Alaafin of Oyo’s wife, Queen Dami.

Speculations had been circulating recently that Portable, who had recently tied the knot with an actress, was in a relationship with the former Alaafin’s wife.

Controversial blogger Gist Lover even added fuel to the fire by sharing screenshots of their exchanges, in which they affectionately referred to each other as “my king” and “queen” while using love emojis.

In a recent interview on the Honest Bunch Podcast, Portable indirectly acknowledged his relationship with Queen Dami. However, he firmly denied being the father of her child, clarifying that Queen Dami was initially his fan before the passing of her husband, the King. Portable emphasized that his involvement with her only came about after the King’s demise, stating, “If the King wasn’t dead, you wouldn’t see me with her. I don’t run after people’s wives.”

The singer, who is a father of five, asserted that the child in question belongs to the late Alaafin of Oyo. Portable’s comments shed light on the nature of his connection with Queen Dami and his commitment to respecting the sanctity of others’ relationships.
