Amid Backlash, Ajebo Hustlers Back Burna Boy

Popular Nigerian musical duo, Ajebo Hustlers have backed Grammy award winning singer, Burna Boy over his comment on Afrobeats.

Burna Boy had in a recent interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, claimed that 90 per cent of Nigerian musicians make music with no substance.

Reacting via their Twitter handle, Ajebo Hustlers said Burna Boy was correct.

The musicial duo tweeted: “Be mad at Burna all you want!! Still don’t change the fact that half y’all favs make music with no substance. Tbh [to be honest] that’s absolutely fair cause this is entertainment at the end of the day. But he’s saying the bitter truth.”
