Apostle Chinyere Continues ‘Good Works’ As New Allegations Of Sexual Impropriety Erupt
Founder of Port Harcourt-based Omega Power Ministries, OPM, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere was on Wednesday morning still mum and his ministry silent to raging allegations of sexual impropriety including impregnating members of his congregation.
GWG.ng reports that the allegations started after a woman and former employee of the cleric told human rights activist Dr. Daniel Ochu, that Chinyere engaged in inappropriate relationships with multiple women under his care, including herself.
According to the woman, who states that she was impregnated by the pastor, the affair dated back to 2019 when she was just 18 and on the verge of marriage. Allegedly, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere propositioned her for a sexual relationship, and despite her reservations about his pastoral role and her imminent marriage to an usher in his church.
Initially declining the offer due to its inappropriate nature, the woman asserts that the pastor responded with anger and veiled threats, pressuring her into eventually agreeing. She claims to have stipulated the use of protection during their encounters, a condition that she alleges the pastor consistently disregarded.
Tragically, their repeated unprotected encounters resulted in the woman becoming pregnant. She maintains that the pastor continued these actions with other young women even after her departure from his household. Notably, another woman is said to have become pregnant for Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere and is currently residing in Lagos.
Meanwhile, amid the allegations of sexual impropriety, Apostle Chinyere has continued with his ‘good works’ noting his rehabilitation of bad boys among others into good men and women.
