The billionaire entrepreneur dismissed these allegations in response to a tweet made by a user identified as Imran Muhammad.

The tweet from Imran Muhammad stated, “According to a Source President Tinubu is also considering Tony O. Elumelu as CBN Governor,” implying that Tony Elumelu was being considered for the esteemed role.

In his response to the assertion, Tony Elumelu took to social media to address the matter directly. In a succinct response, he clarified, “LOL. No, please. This is false news! 🙏🏾”
