Associates of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar have dismissed as erroneous claims of a division in their ranks over the injunction from Senator Ben Murray-Bruce not to appeal the judgment of the Presidential Election Petition’s Court, PEPC that dismissed the petition against the the election of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as president.

GWG.ng reports that Murray-Bruce in a statement issued on X, formerly known as Twitter had urged Tinubu’s rivals not to appeal the judgment but to move on saying that Tinubu was duly elected.

The counsel form Murray-Bruce was at variance with most of the associates of Atiku who GWG.ng gathered were unanimous that the judgment of the PEPC was a miscarriage of justice. The insiders who reviewed the judgment on Wednesday night had various points of disagreement which they agreed should be appealed.

“There is no disagreement within our camp,” the source said on Thursday morning.

“What many people do not know is that Murray-Bruce left us once INEC announced their result. It was not as if he was very close but once the result was announced he congratulated Tinubu and we have not seen him since.

“Maybe it is because of his businesses in Lagos, but his statement does not reflect a division in our camp,” the source a top associate of Atiku’s said in rebuffing Murray-Bruce.
