G-Wagon: How Portable Resisted Arrest (Video)

A video has surfaced showing Nigerian singer Portable being forcefully dragged into a vehicle by security officers after attempting to escape.

Recall that GWG.ng reported that Portable was arrested for refusing to pay a debt incurred from purchasing a G-Wagon from a car dealer.

In the video, the singer is seen resisting as security officers attempt to escort him into a vehicle. A woman in the background is heard advising him to cooperate and enter peacefully to avoid injury. However, she later becomes frustrated and insults him for threatening and insulting her in Yoruba.

According to reports, Portable paid only N13 million of the N27 million agreed upon for the vehicle and has refused to pay the remaining N14 million balance.

Following his arrest, leaked chats have surfaced showing the car dealer’s attempts to contact the Zazoo crooner through voice notes, which leave him with little room to deny the claims. The agreement signed by Portable for the G-Wagon purchase has also been leaked online.

As the situation develops, some observers believe Portable should not have resisted arrest since it is a legal matter. They suggest his behavior during the arrest highlights the impact of his lack of education.
