The current record holder for the longest speech marathon is Ananta Ram, a Nepali, who achieved a remarkable feat by speaking for 90 hours and 2 minutes in Kathmandu, Nepal, from August 27 to 31, 2018.

Now, the 24-year-old native of Akoko in Ondo State, Christopher Bayode Olusa, affectionately known as “The Duke,” is determined to surpass the record set in Kathmandu in 2018, with an unwavering determination to etch his name in history.

Olusa took the initiative to secure approval from the Guinness World Record organization before embarking on this extraordinary journey.

The venue of this marathon speech has become a focal point of interest, attracting individuals from all walks of life who visit daily to show their support and inspire the determined Christopher Bayode Olusa.

Olusa’s ambitious quest to set a new speech marathon world record of 120 hours is anticipated to culminate in the early hours of Saturday, marking a significant achievement in the world of record-breaking feats.
