Tinubu: 6 Shocking Details From CSU’s 32-Page Document

Nigerians have received the news of the 32-page document containing President Bola Tinubu’s academic records as released by Chicago State University (CSU), with mixed feelings.

Recall CSU, on Monday night, finally obeyed a United States Court order which mandated it to release the academic records of Nigeria’s President to former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.

Following a US court order on Saturday, CSU, released Tinubu’s academic records as requested by Atiku – a development that has since stirred mixed reactions on social media.

Here are the 6 takeaways from the CSU’s 32-page document:

  1. The documents seen online showed that the name on the supposed academic document is ‘Bola A. Tinubu’ indicating a direct variance to the name Tinubu submitted to Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC). A quick check by this writer revealed the name in the INEC’s EC9 form is ‘Tinubu Bola Ahmed’.
  2. The Southwest College transcript that Tinubu used to get admitted to Chicago State University belongs to a female as evidence below.
  3. Tinubu after applying to Southwest College for an associate degree in 1975 claimed to have attended Government College, Lagos, and presented a 1970 GCE A-level result with grades E in Chemistry and Biology and an F in Physics. Our findings reveal Government College, Lagos, was established in 1974. So, there’s a chronological conundrum there, which signposts forgery.
  4. Tinubu claims he was born on March 29, 1952, but the birthday recorded in his CSU transcript says he was born on March 29, 1954.
  5. The Pinterest Chicago Certificate submitted by Tinubu to INEC differs from the ones released by CSU. Under Nigerian Laws, the penalties are clear. This same law led to the resignation of of the then Speaker of the House of Representatives from Kano, Mr Salisu Buhari, after he allegedly forged Toronto University Certificate.
  6. Also, the documents stated he (Tinubu) was a US citizen in his application documents to CSU, contradicting Tinubu’s claim that he has never held any citizenship aside that of Nigeria in his EC9 form submitted to INEC.
