NECO Set to Release 2023 SSCE Internal Results After Delay

The National Examination Council (NECO) has announced that it will be releasing the results of the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) internal today, Tuesday, October 10, 2023.

Earlier expectations for the results to be released last week were not met, causing some anxiety among students. The delay, while causing concern, is seen by some as necessary for ensuring accurate and efficient results.

NECO had previously reported that more than 1,200,000 candidates registered to take the SSCE in 2023. The Registrar/Chief Executive, Prof. Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, disclosed this information in Jos, the capital of Plateau State.

A principal of a private college school in Ketu/Alapere, speaking anonymously, expressed understanding for the delay. He acknowledged the anxiety among students but praised NECO for their recent efficiency. He hoped for a positive outcome for the students and urged NECO to release the results as promised.
