Leading Nigerian Actor, Politician Questions Tinubu’s Private Visit To Paris

Labour Party (LP) chieftain, Kenneth Okonkwo, has raised questions about the private visit of President Bola Tinubu to Paris, France, suggesting that there might be more to the visit than what the Presidency has communicated to Nigerians.

In response to the announcement of Tinubu’s private visit, Okonkwo criticized the presidential media aides for their communication approach, stating that they should have been more transparent about the purpose of the trip. He hinted at the possibility that the president might be seeking medical attention.

The Nollywood actor and politician expressed concern about the timing of Tinubu’s visit, emphasizing that it comes at a challenging period for the country. He argued that presenting the trip as a private visit during a crisis reflects a lack of empathy on the part of the President.

Okonkwo suggested that honesty and transparency in communication would be more appreciated by the public, especially during times of uncertainty. He concluded by stating that any President who is misinformable is unknowledgeable and lacks capacity, implying incompetence on the part of the current administration.

GWG.ng reports that the assertions of Kenneth Okonkwo on the private visit of President Tinubu to Paris, France came against the background of the lack of information on the visit.
