In a revelation, gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey opened up about a vision he had in anticipation of the Nigeria vs Angola match in the AFCON Cote d’Ivoire 2023 tournament.

As today, February 2nd, 2024, marks the Quarter Final clash between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Angola at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan, Nathaniel Bassey took to his X handle to share insights from his vision concerning this crucial match.

In a tweet, he expressed the surprising nature of the vision, stating, “Why am I praying and the next thing I’m seeing is about super eagles? And hey, it’s not as though I’m thinking about them o per se… I’ve not even told you what I saw …”

Directly addressing the Super Eagles, Nathaniel urged them not to miss goal opportunities in the upcoming game against Angola. On X, he shared a heartfelt prayer, expressing his hopes for Nigeria to avoid disappointment both in the match outcome and the individual performances of the players.

In his words, “Well, tomorrow we must take every chance that comes our way. It’s not the day to miss chances. I saw two people on the bench crying. May we not have cause to weep about the match and any of our players. If we have to weep, may it be for joy ooo. Amen. So it lifts the nation. It’s been tough lately.”

Nathaniel Bassey’s revelation adds a unique and prayerful perspective to the anticipation surrounding the Super Eagles’ crucial Quarter Final encounter with Angola in AFCON.
