Few Dedicated Fans Receive Super Eagles After AFCON (Video)

The Super Eagles Team have returned to Nigeria after emerging second at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. 

The Super Eagles of Nigeria clinched the silver medal after they were defeated 2 – 1 by the host nation Ivory Coast on Sunday.

A viral video online captured a crowd of Nigerians cheerfully receiving the super Eagles team as they alighted from the airplane at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Tuesday morning in the company of the Honourable Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, and the NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau.

Speaking to journalists when asked what next Nigerians should expect, Senator Enoh said, “The General challenge to us as a country is how to Sustain where we’ve reached; how to sustain the excellent performance we put out in Abijan, going forward into the next tournament.”
