To Escape Jail, Yul Edochie Says Traditional Marriage To Judy Was A Skit

As the divorce case between Nollywood actor Yul Edochie and his estranged wife May, continues to unfold, Yul’s defense has refuted the claim that he performed a traditional marriage with new wife, Judy Austin saying that the script was only a comedy skit.

May’s lawyer, Mr. Ugwuonye, revealed that Yul’s defense asserted they were merely skitmakers like Sabinus and were never married. Initially accused of bigamy by May for allegedly marrying Judy without her knowledge, Yul faced the possibility of remand in jail, prompting May to opt for divorce and sue Judy for adultery.

Yul vehemently denied the allegations, asserting that his alleged marriage to Judy was fabricated by the blog Gistlover for social media traffic and financial gain. He cited the birth of their children from their skit-making endeavors as evidence of their professional collaboration.

In response, Judy also denied the claims, categorically refuting any traditional marriage ceremony between her and Yul. She accused Gistlover blog of spreading false information for financial gain and challenged May to provide proof of the alleged marriage.
