Reactions As Police Arrest 73 For Not Using Pedestrian Bridge (Video)

Reactions have trailed the arrest of 73 men by the police in Lagos for allegedly crossing the road despite the presence of a pedestrian bridge.

A viral video online captured the Police officers parading the 73 men who were seated, some on benches, others on the ground; all covering their faces.

This video met with mixed reactions from the online community. Some were shocked at the arrest; others commended the officers while others went emotional describing the offenders as ‘hungry people’. See reactions below:

tayorcruz said, “I can remember when I got my first job in 2016, as I reach cele bus stop, na so I joyfully use speed cross express bcos I wan go collect my appointment letter. Omo before I knew wat was happening, na so I see my self for inside Black Maria.

“This wasn’t a funny experience Bcos I started wondering y of all days was when I was going to collect my appointment letter that sort of thing happened.. I was just thinking which of my strong village people could have been able to pull such a stunt on me.”
