VIDEO: Why I Supported Peter Obi In 2023 Presidential Elections – AY Comedian

Nigerian Comedian, AY Makun, has opened up that his support for Peter Obi, during the 2023 Nigerian General elections, came along with costly problems.

A viral video online captured him saying this during his recent comedy show.

The comedian further revealed that his house got burnt after he openly declared his support for Peter Obi.

Recall that GWG.ng recently reported that AY transformed his burnt house into a magnificent mansion to the amazement of many, home and abroad.

In AY’s words, he said, “I supported Peter Obi, as I am here, I still stand and tell you, that I do not regret supporting Peter Obi.”

But fire Neva burn for my house so?

He continued, “The decision I made was to support Peter Obi, not because I am a politician but because I want change. Because I want my children to become better. 

“I know nothing about politics. Nobody advised me. People kept on saying to me, A.Y. your voice must be heard. You have over 25 million followers cut across social media strata. Na im dem hear my voice o.  As dem hear my voice, my house burn.”

His statement couldn’t help but erupt laughter from the audience which also identified with him at the same time.
