Enugu Police triplets

The Enugu Police Command has sought the assistance of the public for Corporal Kingsley Nnamani, stationed at Nsukka Urban Division, whose wife, Helen, recently gave birth to triplets, all boys, on March 21.

Commissioner of Police in the State, Mr. Kanayo Uzuegbu, leading the call for support, highlighted the significance of this event, citing a similar occurrence in May 2023 when the wife of a police sergeant delivered triplets.

“This demonstrates the fertility of police officers in Enugu State,” remarked police spokesman in Enugu State, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, quoting Uzuegbu.

The police commissioner emphasized the positive impact of these births on the police force and Enugu State, urging people to support Corporal Nnamani and his family.

He appealed to public-spirited individuals, groups, and organizations to rally behind the corporal’s family.

With the birth of the triplets, the couple’s children now total four, including their two-year-old daughter.

Meanwhile, besides the news of the Enugu Police officer whose wife welcomed triplets, GWG.ng reports that the police on Tuesday, arraigned two men, Nasiru Mohammed, 25, and Abubakar Sanni, 30, before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court Ibadan, over alleged possession of firearms.
The duo, whose house addresses were not provided, are being tried for alleged conspiracy and unlawful possession of firearms.
The Prosecutor, ASP Anthony Igori, told the court that the defendants committed the alleged offences on March 3, at about 9.00 a.m. at Ibadan-Iseyin road.
