Adding to the uncertainty, the President of the Action Guild Nigeria (AGN), Mr Emeka Rollas, initially contributed to the confusion by confirming Junior Pope’s survival in a now-deleted social media post.

However, in a sudden reversal, the AGN President later retracted his statement, acknowledging the actor’s passing. According to his revised account, Junior Pope had succumbed to his ailments despite the valiant efforts of medical professionals at two notable hospitals.
