Prince Odi Okojie, husband of beloved Nollywood star, Mercy Johnson has charged Nigerians to check on the mental health of their loved ones after his wife at the weekend became the subject of witchcraft allegations raised by Nollywood giant, Angela Okorie and a lady who claimed to be a childhood friend of Mercy Johnson.

Prince Okojie who married Mercy Johnson in August 2011 came out on his Instagram page to snub the accusations against his wife raised by Angela Okorie who made damming allegations of negative spiritual and witchcraft allegations against his wife.

He wrote: “Pls endeavor to check on your loved ones, mental health is real. Mad people everywhere”.

GWG.ng reports that the response from Rep Odi Okojie came after the blistering weekend allegations of witchcraft raised against his wife, Mercy Johnson of that centered on her allegedly seizing the destinies of fellow Nollywood stars.

The uproar began after Angela Okorie came out on a joint Instagram live session with another user, Mrs Ijeoma who claimed to be a childhood friend of Mercy Johnson as they recounted allegations of spiritual manipulation bordering on witchcraft against Mercy who remains a darling of many Nigerians.

Mrs. Ijeoma, weighing in on the issue, revealed her purported friendship with Mercy from their childhood days and shared an unsettling experience that she believes confirms Mercy’s alleged involvement in witchcraft.

According to Mrs. Ijeoma, she was once summoned by Mercy Johnson’s late mother, who engaged in a ritualistic exchange of clothes and performed occult acts.

This encounter, she claims, marked a turning point in her life, alleging that she ceased to receive favors and faced hindrances in her Nollywood auditions, which she attended alongside her childhood friend.

With tears in her eyes, Mrs. Ijeoma recounted the spiritual turmoil she endured, citing vivid and distressing dreams and expressing how close she came to losing her sanity.

She maintained that Mercy Johnson’s mother was a witch who passed down her practices to Mercy, despite the actress not actively participating in them during her upbringing.

Quoting Mrs. Ijeoma’s statement, she firmly asserted, “Growing up, Mercy Johnson’s grandmother was a witch, she now transferred it to Mercy’s mother, she now transferred it to her. Mercy didn’t practice it while growing up even though they’ve initiated her.”

GWG.ng reports that Mercy Johnson is one of the most beloved actresses in Nollywood who has garnered respect not only for her acting skills but also outside the screen, for her devotion to her family.
