Church under fire over Arthur Eze

A Catholic church has come under fire after granting Nigerian Billionaire businessman, Prince Arthur Eze, its pulpit to garner support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

GWG.ng earlier reported how Arthur Eze called on Nigerians to rally behind President Bola Tinubu, praising his commitment to inclusive governance, in a shared video on X.

The video captured Eze donating N20 million to the church, where he expressed his admiration for the president’s approach to appointments.

According to Eze, “Tinubu has no boundaries. He has appointed people from diverse backgrounds, including Wike and Umahi, both Igbo men, as ministers.

His government is a true representation of Nigeria’s diversity.” He emphasized that this inclusive approach will bring positive change to the country, urging Nigerians to support the president before it’s too late.

Nigerians on the X app took to their accounts to condemn the action of the church for allowing Eze Arthur to use its Pulpit in exchange for politics.

@BiluluC said, “Catholic churches should stop giving their platform to politicians and those who speak from both sides of their mouth especially politicians and business men who depend on politicians.”

@sintiagor1759 asked, “Why is the Church mocking herself by platforming these miscreants?”
