Nigerian rapper and performer Palisade Ogunka, stage name Sky B, has returned to social media after a prolonged absence from the music industry.

Sky B, a prominent figure in the early 2000s, captured fans’ hearts with hits like “I am Calling” (Mambebe), “Here I am,” “Pray for Me,” and “You Promised Not to Go.”

However, his sudden disappearance from the music scene left fans curious about his whereabouts and well-being.

In 2019, rumours circulated that he had passed away from a heart attack in Owerri, Imo state.

Contrary to these reports, it was later revealed that he was alive but facing personal and career challenges.

Recently, Nigerian Tourist and Humanitarian Lucky Udu discovered Sky B living a modest life in a one-room apartment with his family in Port Harcourt.

Sky B opened up to Udu about his struggles, citing a difficult period after signing a 10-year deal with his record label in 2005, which ultimately led to his abandonment due to unresolved issues.

He revealed that he lost all rights to his songs, and was left penniless as no royalties were paid to him.

The rapper shared his current predicament and financial struggles, revealing that he barely has N2000 in his account, and no mobile phone to connect with the world.

Moved by his story, Udu and his team shared his account details for fans to support him financially. The team also got him a brand new phone.

Udu also launched social media accounts under the name Palisade Ogunka, on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.

The response has been overwhelming, with a surge in followers and an outpouring of support for the artiste.

Fans and well-wishers are rallying around Sky B, showing love and anticipation for his potential return to the music scene.
