Famous ‘Sex For Grade’ Documentary Originator Calls Out Facebook Over 3-Year-Old Nigerian Girl’s Sexualised Pics
Kiki Mordi, a Nigerian investigative journalist, filmmaker, writer and entrepreneur, has slammed facebook over refusal to delete a page which contains sexualized pictures and videos of a three-old-old girl, posted by her father, Musa Suleman.
kikimordi in a social media post stated, “This is Musa Suleman. He was arrested in Auchi, a town in Edo State, will be go y theNigeria, for sharing explicit and sexualised photos of his three-year-old daughter on Facebook & Instagram.
“You can read about his arrest online, but I want to speak on the complicity of @instagram and facebook in this!
“The accounts where videos of a three-year-old child in sexy lingerie dancing seductively for pedophilic men are still up on Facebook as I type this. It took hours of constantly reporting and personally reaching out for the Instagram page to be taken down.”
Kiki Mordi added, “I know how seriously Instagram takes child pern content in Europe because of the stiff laws that exist; my question is, why would you deprioritise Nigerian children like this?
“Is Facebook a safe space for paedophiles???
“Please ask @facebook why they have refused to take down Sarah’s page. A three-year-old girl who was forced to pose for internet paedophiles!”
Kiki Mordi is a Nigerian investigative journalist, filmmaker, writer and entrepreneur. She dropped out of school because she was harassed by a lecturer in her school. This ordeal was what led her to shoot the Sex for Grades video with the BBC Africa Eye.
The documentary exposed the depth of sexual harassment among Nigerians and Ghanaian lecturers. In 2016, she won the award of Outstanding Radio Program Presenter (South-South) at the Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards.
