Billionaire heir and former BBNaija housemate, Kiddwaya, has faced criticism for his congratulatory message to Davido and Chioma on their wedding ceremony. Taking to Twitter, Kiddwaya aimed to pen a heartfelt prayer for the couple but unfortunately made multiple grammatical errors.

His initial message read, “A wedding ordained my Gods grace. Happy married lives my family.” Realizing his mistake,

Kiddwaya attempted to correct it but ended up making further errors, writing, “What God cannot do does not exists. A wedding ordained by ‘Gods’.

Netizens were quick to point out the errors, with one user, @mrlurvy, playfully teasing Kiddwaya, saying, “Kiddwaya ma pa wa nau. You edit, you still no get am. O de dakun.” (Translation: “Kiddwaya, you’re making a mistake again. You edited but still didn’t get it right. Oh dear!”)

timma_s.o.s : “He can attend the wedding but you can’t 😂”

fnprincekay : “You’re looking for grammatical error, they’re making money”

1stladyija : “It’s funny how we correct people on a borrowed language”

meetemmanueljacob : “There is something called “oversight” and it can happen even to the best of us. Sometimes, what you want to communicate is clear in your mind, but you can make some errors due to lack of attention to details. This is why it is good to proofread or get someone to do it for it. However, I don’t understand the fuss about the grammar. It’s the thoughts that counts. Congratulations to Davido and Chioma

davechuka_ : “Even with bad grammar en fit attend . U fit ?”

@innydizzy; “E no really matter, provided you understand and get the message he was trying to pass. Life no suppose hard”

Despite the criticism, Kiddwaya’s gesture was well-intentioned, and many fans have come to his defense, praising his kind words and enthusiasm.
