Davido Gives Up Custody Battle As Sophia Hits Below The Belt

The ongoing custody battle between Davido and his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, has taken a dramatic turn with the musician telling his estranged lover to keep the baby after she brought up the death of his son, Ifeanyi in their court battle.

The drama began when Davido filed a lawsuit seeking joint custody of their daughter, Imade, alleging that Sophia was denying him access and extorting money from him. Sophia responded, revealing a past affair with Davido from 2020-2022 while he was dating Chioma, and denying his claims of being denied access to Imade.

In a new development, Sophia filed a 102-paragraph affidavit opposing Davido’s joint custody request, citing concerns about his controversial lifestyle, the death of Ifeanyi, and his alleged use of their daughter to get back at her. Davido reacted, expressing pain and frustration at Sophia’s constant reminders of Ifeanyi’s death, which he says haunts them daily.
