Isbae U Surprises Kate Henshaw With ‘Davido’ Lookalike Apology (Video)

Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has explained her comments about Davido not greeting her at a past event, emphasizing that she was simply answering a question rather than reporting the singer.

During her appearance on Isbae U’s show, Curiosity Made Me Ask, Kate Henshaw was asked, “Why did you go to an interview to report Davido because he didn’t greet you?” This question surprised Henshaw, prompting her to clarify that she never reported Davido to anyone.

In response, Henshaw stated, “I was asked a question, and I answered it. I didn’t report anybody; I just responded to the question. What does ‘report’ even mean?” She elaborated, saying, “They asked about the person, and I spoke about my knowledge and interaction with him. I didn’t report, and we even had a conversation afterward, so it’s really none of your business. You people are always looking for conflict.”

Following her explanation, Isbae U humorously brought in a Davido lookalike to kneel and apologize on behalf of the singer, adding a lighthearted twist to the discussion.

This incident came after Henshaw’s revelation in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo in December 2023, where she mentioned that she was not a fan of Davido.

She recounted an encounter where Davido did not acknowledge her, saying, “Well, I’m not a fan. I like his music, but personally, I don’t know him. I’ve met him; he didn’t greet me. I’m sorry. No, I’m not sorry. I’m old enough. He didn’t greet, and for me, I believe he should be respectful. For me, personality matters.”
